The vehicle wrap process involves a few simple steps:

The first step is the design process, during which you will consult DeMink DeSigns about your advertising goals and desired look of the wrap. Our onsite printing ensures timely turnaround accurate transfer of the images through its state of the art print server. It has excellent conformability to irregular surfaces, real dimensional stability during use, superior outdoor performance and durability, with a high gloss finish for UV production. The media has a Grey adhesive, which provides extra opacity for dark colored vehicles, the adhesive it engineered with removability in mind, with little or no adhesive residue and no damage to a OEM vehicle’s paint job. Once you’ve finalized the design, the production phase of your wrap will begin. Your design will be printed on large sections of 3M wrap film and laminated to provide UV/weather-resistance.

But the most important step is the pre prep, the only way to keep the vinyl from peeling back in vital vehicle body contour, convex & concaved areas is to have extensive knowledge in adhesive & films. A: DeMink DeSigns can wrap any where you need us too. But if you’re a local customer our installation facility is in Auburn, CA. In addition, if you’re a fleet customer and have vehicles all over the USA the most cost effective way is to design the wrap and print it then DeMink DeSigns can ship the kit to a certified installer. We have a network of installer’s worldwide, and can install your wrap in whatever city the vehicle is in. Almost any where in the world!
Q: Are car wraps applied to windows?
A: Yes, but only rear side and rear windows. Window wraps are printed on a special perforated vinyl that allows the driver to see through the rear and side rear windows.
Q: What if the company information on my wrap changes? Can it be replaced?
A: Yes. Graphics, logos, and phone numbers, or any part of the design can be changed, reprinted and re-installed over the top of the existing car wrap.
Q: Can a wrap be removed?
A: Yes. The wrap can be removed. However, attempting to remove it yourself may cause damage to your paint. We suggest having DeMink DeSigns remove your vehicle wrap. Removing it is the first part, getting the adhesive off is the real challenge. DeMink DeSigns has experts equipped for this task.
Q: Will the wrap damage my paint?
A: No. A car wrap when applied and removed correctly, does not damage your car’s OEM paint. In fact, it protects it.

Q: Will you wrap a leased vehicle?
A: Yes. Since a wrap can be removed without damaging a vehicle, there are no restrictions against wrapping a leased vehicle.
Q: How long will a wrap last on my vehicle?
A: Our wraps will normally outlast the vehicle. You can expect your wrap to last 5 years or longer, as long as you’re careful about high-pressure washing.
Q: How do I care for my wrap?
A: It is best to hand wash your wrapped vehicle. In general, avoid power washing and do not use an ice-scraper. Brushing windows and the use of a rear defroster will cause no damage to your window wrap.
Q: What’s the difference between a ½, ¾, and full wrap?
A. A size of the wrap (Full, ½ or 3/4) simply refers to the percentage of the car that is covered by the wrap.
